We know Friday is a crucial day for our Tollywood. Our box-office breathes in life that day. If not big player films, we have one or the other anticipated film testing luck that day. But this weekend should be the most unique Friday of this season with most dubbing films racing up to test the waters.
In the big race, we have Nayantara-Arya starrer Raja Rani, Vishal’s Dheerudu, Jackie Chan’s Police story 3 –
Raja Rani: This is an interesting romantic love story with a message that there is a love story even after marriage. Directed by young director Atlee Kumar [who worked as an assistant director for prestigious projects like Robo and Tamil remake of 3 Idiots] and being produced by ace director A.R. Muragadoss and Fox Star Studios, it features Arya, Nayanatara, Jai and Nazhriya Nazim in the leads.
Dheerudu: This is a Tamil film of Pandemkodi fame Vishal by name ‘Naan Sigappu Manithan’. This high voltage action drama is being directed by successful director Thiru, produced by UTV Motion Pictures and co-produced by Vishal under his Vishal Film Factory. After Pogaru, Vishal hasn’t ever seen a solid hit and hence he has pinned all hopes over this film. Wish his hopes and long wait pay off with this.
Police Story 3: Police Story….Police Story…Police Story 3 [Just for effect sake!] Well, this is an edgy action flick of International Action Star Jackie Chan [born Chan Kong-sang] directed by himself as Police Story 2013. Now, this is being dubbed into Telugu by the name Police Story 3 by producer Chirasani Ratnanjan. A Jackie Chan film is always a treat for all the action lovers and especially kids.
Well, though we have straight Telugu films like Hang Up and Mudduga hitting screens on that day, these dubbing films are turning out to be the interesting ones to watch out for.
