Superstar Rajinikanth has a terrific market and craze here in A.P. He is considered to be one among our bigwigs and any ‘Rajinikanth film’ is treated as a mainstream big film in spite of being a dubbing one. People swarm at the theatres for a Rajikanth film just they would for any Telugu big star film.
The audio of his upcoming film Kochadaiiyaan [Vikramasimha in Telugu], composed by Oscar winner A.R. Rahman has been grandly released the day before, amidst stalwarts like veteran filmmaker K. Balachander, Shankar, K.S. Ravi Kumar, A.R. Rahman and others. Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan graced this event as a special guest along with heroine Deepika Padukone. The audio of the Telugu version has also been launched on the same stage. On this occasion, both Tamil and Hindi official theatrical trailers have been released. These trailers are already going tremendously viral on the web turning the fans berserk. But, the makers have disappointed the Telugu fans of the Superstar. For every Telugu fan who has expected the dialogs, action and all that typical Rajni entertainment, the hope, excitement he pinned over Vikramasimha have gone in vain.
When tried getting into this, we learnt that the trailer of the Telugu version hasn’t been prepared yet and the makers have hinted it shall hit very soon. Until then, one needs to adjust with what has been served to them [either Tamil or Hindi – your choice!].
