Often, a movie’s title is registered by a producer or director, but his movie does not even make it to floors at times or it may get a name change in the later times. For instance, a Tollywood director has registered a great title ‘Ruler’ at Film Chamber in the past. But, he couldn’t make use of it for some unknown reasons.

Apart from Krishna Vamsi’s ongoing project, Ram Charan Tej will soon be seen in a powerful genre titled ‘Ruler’ in Boyapati Srinu’s direction. As the film’s title suggests, Cherry is going to shun a typical-Boyapati-style character and will play a mass role in the film.
Balakrishna’s Simha and NTR’s Dammu were in the race to get titled as Ruler, but noted Producer K.S Rama Rao seems to have blocked it for Cherry.
