Shakeela, the renowned South Indian actor who is popular for her “adult” films has released her autobiography titled “Shakeela – Atmakadha” very recently. Now, few interested Tamil producers are seriously trying to bag the rights of the book, keen upon making a film based on her life. They are even making zealous efforts in roping heroine Anjali for the biopic.
The phenomenal success of Dirty Picture has apparently inspired makers to capitalize upon Shakeela’s autobiography. But, sources close to Anjali confirm that she has been approached by none regarding any biopic proposals yet. But cine pundits do feel that Anjali is the right pick for this biopic.
Besides, Shakeela has come up a long way breaking many taboos of the most stereotypical and hypocritical system of her time.
But, if at all Anjali is offered, will she do such a bold film at this juncture of her career? Hope and wish Anjali shall break the mold and recreate the magic of Vidya Balan, if she is zeroed in.
