We are well aware of writer Kona Venkat for his witty dialogues in Srinu Vaitla directorial films and he has always amused many with good scripts in his career span so far. But, it seems that the time has come for the writer to do something big now- directing a feature film. 

The writer had gone behind the camera for the film named ‘Ram and Juliet’ starring newcomers. Kona Venkat has confirmed this news, “The Trailer of my first Internet / Satellite movie will release on valentine's day .. 14th Feb. Movie in Summer !!”

It’s known to us that Kona might reportedly team up with his friend Powerstar Pawan Kalyan for his next. Pawan and Kona are long time buddies and when Kona expressed his desire to direct a film, he seems to have given the nod.

Kona has earlier brushed away all the rumors that he won’t be writing for other films anymore and made it clear that he would be directing films, going forward. Ram and Juliet will have satellite release in summer 2014.
