Two days after legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao’s death, a condolence meeting (Santhapa Sabha) was held at AP Film Chamber, Hyderabad to pay condolence to the thespian. The family members of Akkineni and many celebrities from the Telugu film industry gathered at the chamber last evening (24th January).
While the yesteryear actors and veteran film personalities praised the legendary actor, Naga Susheela, daughter of Nageshwara Rao, who is unhappy with Telugu film greats made some sensational comments. The daughter of legendary actor alleged that, “The film industry people who didn’t honor ANR when he was conferred with Padma Vibhushan are delivering a speech of praise now (after his death).”
"It would have been very good if you would have praised him when he was alive," added Naga Susheela.

In the same vein, actor and director Narayana Murthy said, “It is unfortunate that our political leaders didn’t recommend either Sr NTR or ANR for the India’s highest civilian award Bharat Ratna.”
