It seems to be the season for films with typical Telugu titles. On those lines, we have witnessed such films with titles - Brindavanam, Attarintiki Daredi, Uyyala Jampala, Ramayya Vasthavayya, Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda et al in the recent times. And for the first time, Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is also gearing up to approach us with such title much against to his massy style.
Yes… the latest news is, Ram Charan’s upcoming Multistarrer film (also starring Srikanth) with creative director Krishna Vamsi has been named as Govindhudu Andari Vaadele. And the title has been already registered. This is actually a line from the classic song “Brindavanamadi Andaridi…” (Missamma, 1955) which has been used as a tagline for Jr. NTR’s Brindavanam (2010) as well. For a long time, this title has been popularly associated with the NTR family’s films and fans. Now, Krishna Vamsi has in a way broke the myth by titling his film ‘Govindhudu Andarivaadele’.
The film is slated to go on floors from 6th February and is known that it took a few months for the filmmaker to scout a new heroine alongside Ram Charan.
Bandla Ganesh will produce this film under Parameshwara Arts. An official announcement about the film’s title and other details of the cast and crew is yet to be made by the makers.
