Yes, Anushka has been roped in to enact the role of Bhagmati – Hindu wife of Hyderabad sultan Quli Qutub Shah. According to historians, Hyderabad’s original name Bhagyanagar was named after Bhagmati and as such she holds a special place in the history of Hyderabad.
UV creations of Mirchi fame will be producing this movie. Anushka is currently busy with the shooting of Rudramadevi, which will be completed by April, 2014 followed by Bhagmati hitting the sets. The director and the ensemble cast are yet to be finalized.
