An intelligent actor is one who does not pick the character of choice, but rather a role that suits.
Manchu Vishnu in the past showed interest on action and love stories. Movies like Vishnu, Suryam, Astram and Game fetched him a series of flops. Now he has become a smart actor and started selecting stories that suit him. One such film in Manchu Vishnu repertoire is Dhee directed by Srinu Vaitla. Dhee gave him the first taste of victory.
For reasons known to him, he followed the old route and made movie like Saleem – a big dud at the box-office. Following that debacle Denikaina Ready came as a beacon of light in his sinking career and set the record straight. Finally he has come to a conclusion that movies with action and entertainment fit his personality and came up with the movie Doosukeltha. This also earned him good name at the box-office. “As an actor I prefer doing different kind of characters, but I should pick those roles that suit me. It is also beneficial to the producer. Even though my career had lot of ups and downs, my market value never receded. I am very fortunate in this aspect…” says Manchu Vishnu.
Manchu Vishnu is not only an actor, but also a producer. He is the founder of 24 Frames Factory and started making movies on this banner in accordance with his dreams. He is also the producer for the Manchu family Multi-starrer ‘Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda’. Shortly he is planning to film a movie starring his brother Manoj and another movie titled Ravana is also ready to hit the sets. “Ravana is my dream project. I will make it with my father under the direction of Raghavendra Rao. Currently script work is in progress…” says Vishnu. Apart from this Vishnu also wants to remake his father’s blockbuster hit ‘Assembly Rowdy’, although it will be a while before it takes any shape. Presently he is all geared up to act in the films directed by Puri Jagannadh and Ram Gopal Varma.
iQlik Movies takes this opportunity to wish this successful actor who has re-discovered his mojo a Very Happy Birthday.
