On the occasion of Diwali, Vishal Krishna starrer Pandianadu (Palnadu in Telugu) is going to release grandly on 2nd November. But unfortunately, the Tamil version of the film will not see its release in Karnataka as sandalwood film chamber imposed a temporary ban on Tamil movies.
Kollywood films, which enjoy huge popularity in Karnataka, are facing a week ban in the state, as it prepares to celebrate Kannada Rajyothsava on Friday. Moreover, Cauvery river water sharing dispute between two states is adding fuel to the fire.
Not only Pandianadu, Ajith’s ‘Arrambam’ and Karthi’s ‘All in All Azhagu Raja’ also remained as sufferers of the ban.
