Popular producer AM Rathnam, who produced many big-budget films in Telugu and Tamil, is into severe financial problems. The producer is said as close associate of Pawan Kalyan and he made two films with Powerstar, Kushi and Bangaram.
After producing Bheema in 2008, Rathnam is back as a producer for ‘Arrambam’ starring Ajith, Arya and Nayantara. But shockingly a financier named B. Rajeshwari has filed a complaint to stall the release of Arrambam. In her complaint, petitioner claimed “AM Rathnam has borrowed Rs 1.50 Cr from my son B. Anantha Krishnan for making Kedi in 2005 and till yet, he hasn’t repaid the amount.” She also requested court authorities to stop Rathnam’s Arrambam release till he repays the amount.
On the other hand, Arrambam, directedby Vishnu Vardhan is slated for Diwali festival and it also includes Tollywood hunk Rana Daggubati and Taapsee Pannu in the cast.
