Srinuvaitla started a new trend for drunken scenes in Telugu films. Earlier such scenes were used only to show villianism, but now they are used to produce entertainment. Whenever a drunken scene comes, the audience alert themselves to immerse in laughter. This is the reason why drunken scenes in Anandam, Venky, Dubai Srinu and Dhee resulted in a laugh riot. Now such a scene has also been filmed in Manam movie.
Akkineni heroes Nageshwara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya took alcohol to elevate the comedy in a drunken scene. Nag himself confirmed this. “Yes, this movie has such a scene. When we are in the sets, we are just co-stars. But that particular drunken scene has come out really good ….” said Nag.
Manam is directed by Vikram Kumar and Produced by Annapoorna studios. Samantha and Shriya are playing the lead roles, while Anoop is providing the music.
