Mahesh Babu is all geared up to make hulchul for Sankranthi with the movie ‘1’ Nenokkadine. For every Sankranthi stakes are high at the box-office with intense competition. All the major films enter the race to collide at the same time. It becomes very difficult to get requisite number of theatres and for this reason 14 Reels Entertainments has already begun work and started booking the desired theatres in advance.
For ‘1’ Nenokkadine they are planning to block nearly 1200 theatres and the movie unit has prepared a list of the theatres three months in advance. All the available theatres have already been shortlisted and are being paid in advance. The producers are choosing to release the film in nothing less than 1000 theatres and they plan to do so by getting the theatres under their control. This coming Sankranthi might witness more hungama than anticipated. So, the producers fear the non-availability of theatres and hence this move of blocking them in advance.
If this ‘1’ movie reserves so many theatres, what about the rest of the films? Will they fall behind in the race and miss the Sankranthi celebrations?
