Chandrabose is one of the modern lyricists in Tollywood who is gifted with a plethora of talent and ability to write songs in simple words. He is capable of writing songs of any genre, which would make intrigue the listener to look for the meaning behind it along with the entertainment factor. Amidst star lyricists like Veturi and Sirivennela, Chandrabose managed to create his own mark which has to be appreciated.
His first song as a lyricist was from D.Ramanaidu’s production venture Tajmahal starring Srikanth in the lead. The music was composed by M.M.Sreelekha and the song was “Manchu Kondallona” which became an instant hit. The audiences were curious to see a new and fresh style of lyric writing in the midst of numerous Telugu film songs. The most striking factor of Chandrabose lyrics is utter simplicity and straightforwardness. The necessary emotion for the song is crisply conveyed by his lyrics, making them instantly likeable. Chandrabose never looked back with this success and has been continuing his lyrical journey in Tollywood ever since.
Let it be a situation where college students sing a farewell song and the warm memories they cherish (“Ekkado Putti Ekkado Perigi - Student No 1”), or an inspiring song speaking about positive attitude in life (“ Mounamgaane Edagamani - Naa Autograph”), or a romantic duet (“Nee Navvula Thelladananni - Aadi”)- Chandrabose did it all in Tollywood from mid 90s and post 2000s era. His lyrical ability redefined these emotions both for the new generation and as well as the older generation who follow Telugu Cinema.
Chandrabose is still continuing to write in Tollywood and turned out to be one of the lyrical fortunes of Telugu Cinema with every surprise he gives - in terms of lyrics.
