Nimmala Shankar, Telugu filmmaker has been nominated as member of Oscar Screening Committee by Film Federation of India. The committee of 16-member jury will nominate the India's official entry at the Oscars 2013 from various film industries in the country.
On 17th September, the assortment board comprising of directors, actors and technicians from all over the country will view all flicks nominated from India, in Hyderabad.
Shankar, who directed movies such as Sri Ramulayya, Encounter, Jayam Manadera, Bhadrachalam and Jai Bolo Telangana, said ‘I feel honored to have been nominated for the responsibility. I’m looking ahead to watch the greatest films made in the country in the last year.’
