Indian President Pranab Mukherjee will be attending as chief guest for the 100 years celebrations of Indian Cinema which will be held in Chennai in September. The top officials of South Indian Film Fraternity have meet President Pranab and handed over him the invitation. The President too responded positively and assured the officials that he would definitely participate in the 100 years celebrations.
All the South Indian states Chief Minister will be also participating in this event and the South fraternity are putting efforts to the make the event a grand success. As of now, the program is scheduled on September 25, 26 and 27 dates respectively in Chennai. The respective film chambers have appealed to the filmmakers to put-off the shooting of the films during these days.
