Yesteryear’s heroine Simran will be making a comeback to the silver screen after a small gap. The actress was last seen in Nandamuri Balarishna’s ‘Oka Mogadu’ in which she acted as an old lady. Interestingly Simran will be doing the same role in her next film which will be directed by Tamil top director Gautam Vasudev Menon titled ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’. Also she will be seen as hero Suriya’s mother in this film. This will be Simran’s third film with Suriya. She acted as the female lead in ‘Nerrukku Ner’ early in her career and later in ‘Surya s/o Krishnan’.
This is also Suriya’s third film with Gautam Menon and expectations among fans are very high. Currently the shooting of the film is in progress. A.R. Rahman is composing music for this film. The Telugu version is yet to be named.
