Occasionally, Telugu films also follow the tradition of sequel and even Tollywood has its own share of sequels, although not at the level of Bollywood. As soon as a movie gets a hit talk, they start talking about a sequel or while writing the story initially, they reserve some twists and turns for the second part. Even Janardhan Maharshi did the same with Pavithra, in which Shriya Saran was portrayed as a prostitute and was released this Friday.
In the film's final scene, the end card read, “Let’s talk about the remaining things in 'parliament lo Pavithra'” indicating a sequel for Pavithra. When asked about the same Janardhan Maharshi conveyed “Won’t it be great if there is a sequel? We have that thought, let’s see”. Well.. well.. well … for the sequel to come, the original should fare well at the box office! Isn't it right?
