Actress Anjali is once again drawing the attention of the media by her absence. No, the actress hasn’t disappeared again but she has failed to present herself in time at the court, for the defamation case filed on her by Tamil director Kalanjiyam. The court has taken this as a major offense and has instructed the actress to appear in court by June 5 or a non-bailable warrant would be issued.
Anjali has been in news for the past one and half month courtesy her allegations on her Aunt Bharathi Devi and director Kalanjiyam. The actress initially went into hiding and later appeared dramatically at a police station in Hyderabad. Since then she has been shooting for her upcoming film 'Garam Masala'' where she is paired up with Venkatesh again after 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. During the same time she was expected to attend the shoot of a film made by director Kalanjiyam which has been completely abandoned by the actress. It is because of this act of Anjali, the director filed a case in court.
