Actor-turned-choreographer-turned-director Prabhu Deva is creating wonders in Bollywood. After two back to back hits he has become the most sought after director in Bollywood. Prabhu Deva and remakes have become synonyms off late and is always on lookout for a film that has universal appeal to be remade. Not everyone can replicate the same story and make it a huge hit, but this seems to be Prabhu Deva’s forte. Prabhu Deva is currently busy working on “Ramaiya Vastavaiya” a remake of Telugu Blockbuster “Nuvvu Vastanante Nenu Vaddantana”.
Now reports suggest that the director’s eye has fallen on a latest big Telugu release. The big Telugu release is none other than our own "Baadshah" staring Young Tiger Jr.NTR. Although the film hasn't performed to the expected level, the director feels that the film has the potential to attract larger audience. Recently there were rumors that Prabhu Deva was in talks with Salman Khan. Considering the close proximity between the actor and the director and the common penchant for remake among the two "Baadshah seems to be a perfect fit for Sallu Bhai". The success of “Wanted”, a remake of ‘Pokiri’ put Salman Khan back on track and hopefully this will make him the Baadshah of Bollywood. To get the remake rights of this movie Prabhu Deva is not leaving any stone unturned. Let’s wait and watch who the hero would be, if he succeeds in getting the remake rights?
