Over the past few years many south films especially from Tollywood have been remade in Bollywood and have scored huge hits. Now yet another film is in cards of getting remade in Hindi and a noted star is trying his best to get it. Buzz is that Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is showing lot of interest in remaking Jr. NTR’s ‘Oosaravelli’ in Hindi and has reportedly consulted producer B.V.S.N. Prasad for the remake rights. Although the film faired moderately at box office, Akshay was excited about the storyline and wants to bag the rights. Though producer Prasad has quoted a handsome amount of Rs. 65 Lacs for the rights, Akshay is not backing out to pay the amount.
Akshay is currently busy with the film ‘Gabbar’ and once he is done with this project, his focus will shift to ‘Oosaravelli’ remake. The other details are awaited. If everything works out, then how Akshay would appear on screen would be more interesting.
