Controversies are not new to Ram Gopal Varma (RGV). He always creates ripples before an announcement or the release of a new film. The director, who earlier announced the sequel of ‘Satya’, has auditioned quite a few actors for the lead roles. Noted Marathi actor Girish Oak was also one of them. During audition the director asked the actors to say a dialog. But RGV has used Girish’s voice without his consent in the promos as well as in the trailers of the film which were uploaded in Youtube.

When Girish got to know about this, he approached RGV’s office for explanation. But there was no reply and the senior Marathi actor was hurt. This was brought to the notice of Shiv Sena Chitrapat Sena president Bandekar. Bandekar along with Girish went to RGV office but he was not available and was also reluctant to reply. Annoyed by RGV’s actions, Bandekar threatened, he wouldn’t allow RGV to shoot in Maharastra and demanded for an unconditional apology. At last the controversy ended when Girish received a written apology from RGV’s company.
