Veerabhimanyu story at a glance
For an actor like Sobhan Babu who was studying in Madras and suddenly came to films in hope of some good opportunities, he could only get roles of limited presence. While he was waiting for the right break as an actor, he got a chance to act as the handsome Abhimanyu in Mythological Epic Nartanasaala. The success of this film led him to act as Abhimanyu in full length role for Veerabhimanyu. However, it is a different story of how Sobhan Babu struggled later even after this success and finally getting break with Manushulu Maarali. The character of Abhimanyu is of limited presence in Epic Mahabharata but Sobhan Babu enthralled the audience with his portrayal of the character with youthful looks and valor.
