Akbar Kalam (Kamal Kamaraju) is an auto driver from a small town Devarakonda in Telangana. He wants to pursue a degree through a open university but stumbles clearing English due to lack of coaching. Lakshmi Jandhyala (Bindu Madhavi) migrates to Devarakonda after losing everything in Polavaram. Lakshmi leads the family doing odd jobs. Lakshmi falls for Akbar but her father opposes as he hates Muslim community. What happened next in their lives is the story all about.
