Ram (Jagapathi Babu) runs a restaurant in Bangkok and leads a peaceful life with his wife VIdya (Vimala Raman) and a son. In a strange incident, Ram kills a man who molests his restaurant waitress. He then becomes talk of the media. Guru Narayana (Kota Srinivas Rao) a Chief Minister aspirant in Andhra Pradesh sees Ram on TV and suspects him to be Durga, his archrival who was declared dead long back ago. Guru Narayana sends his son Shankar Narayana (Kota Prasad) and lawyer Saab (Tanikella Bharani) to find out Ram’s real identity. Later, it gets revealed that, Ram is none other than Durga. Guru Narayana men attack Ram’s family and they get severely hurt. The rest of the story is how Ram settles things with Guru Narayana.

The film opened with tremendous expectations, even though the plot was not convincing the movie managed to score an above average hit at box office.
