Budget Padmanabham story at a glance
Padmanabham (Jagapathi babu) is a very stingy guy. He eats only once in a day, and gives lift to his colleagues, collects money from them. And so he is Budget Padmanabham. Strangely, Ramya (Ramya Krishna) falls in love with Padmanabham even after knowing his nature. He marries her and tehn start the troubles: first, his sister Vijaya (Y Vijaya) and her husband (L.B. Sriram) pile on to him and then Ramya's good-for-nothing brother Ravi (Ravi Teja) also seeks shelter in their house. In addition to this, Ramya gives birth to triplets. Why is Padmanabham so stingy and will he tolerate all this forms the plot.

The movie did not garn much response from critics and audience. So the openings of the film quite dull. Jagapathi Babu’s performance was highly claimed and on the whole, the move settled for average grosser at box office. -
