Trade
Mahesh carried a boyish look during the initial part of his career. But, ironically he was portrayed as a father of a young boy in the movie. Somehow, this did affect the movie’s fate and it remained a flop in Mahesh’s career.
Highlights
This is the first combination of Mahesh and Simran. Sakshi Sivanand acted as the second heroine. Both of them did not get any other chances to work with Mahesh again.
Mahesh Babu and Y.V.S. Chowdary joined hands for the first time for this project.
Sidelights
This film gave Mahesh Babu the tag "Prince", as ‘Yuvaraju’ means Prince. Incidentally, his first movie was titled 'Raja Kumarudu' which also means Prince.
Some of shots in the second half are straight lifts from Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hain.
