Bala Subrahmanyam – Subbu (NTR) is a college student who is loved by one and all for his cool headedness. And there is Neeraja (Sonali Joshi) who funds 25 seats in the college for poor anonymously. Impressed by her good work, Subbu tries to find out her and later falls for her. On the other side, Neeraja is also in search for Subbu for a stronger reason. What is it and how they finally bond with each other forms the rest of the story.

NTR gained enough popularity in audience with his earlier movie, Student No.1. There are decent amount of expectations on this movie. But the movie failed to make a decent buzz at the box office.

Suresh Varma, a debutant director, a protégé of Ram Gopal Varma directed this movie. His career did not progress any longer except for some B-grade movies.
Sonali Joshi made her debut along side NTR in this movie. She disappeared slowly in to horizon after a couple of small movies.
