Siva Thandavam story at a glance
Kenny (Vikram) is a visually challenged man residing in London, playing piano in a church for a living. Sarah (Amy Jackson) is a British born Indian girl and winner of Miss London title, meets Kenny in a church and develops a soft corner for him. Kenny travels in a cab for which Satya (Santhanam) is the diver and happens to kill few people. Veerakathi (Nassar) is the police officer who investigates those murders. Why Kenny does all this? What's the story behind his silence is what the remaining story is about.

Vikram-Vijay-Anushka had earlier teamed up for Deiva Thirumagal (Nanna in Telugu). The movie was well received critically. There were good expectations on this new combination but Siva Thandavam couldn't make it all. -
Highlights
• This is the second combination of AL Vijay and Vikram after their much acclaimed Nanna (Deiva Thirumaghal in Tamil).• Anushka paired up with Vikram for the second time after Nanna.• Actor Jagapathi Babu played an important role in the movie. -
Sidelights
• Siva Thandavam, the Telugu version did not release simultaneously with the Tamil version Thandavam as couple of producers challenged Producer C. Kalyan's claim that Siva Thandavam is a straight Telugu film alleging that it is just a clause to evade the heavy tax imposed on dubbing movies. The producers questioned the Film Chamber of Commerce's decision of certifying the film as a straight film though it was shot in Tamil. The movie was later considered as a dubbed movie and was taxed accordingly.
