Bullet Raja (Ravi Teja) is a small time robber with a good heart. He falls in love with Swetha (Tapsee Pannu). But Swetha is already engaged to Harbour Babu (Sushant Singh), a powerful local goon in the city. Harbor Babu comes to know about Bullet Raja and he kills him.
Bullet Raja heads to Yamalokam where he realizes that his life has been unfairly ended by Chitragupta (M. S. Narayana). So he fights with Yamadharma Raja (Prabhu) for his life. A helpless Yamadharma Raja decides to send him back to earth into the body of Home Minister Ravindra (Ravi Teja). After Bullet Raja enters into Ravinder's body, he fights with Harbor Babu and reunites Swetha and his family.

The film completed 50 days in 56 centers. The movie was made with a budget of 20 crores. However, it remained as an above average.

In February 2012, filming was disrupted by Telangana activists. The incident happened when the unit was filming Osmania University campus, Hyderabad.
