Chanti (Ravi Teja) is works in Indian military. Chanti comes to his hometown for the funeral of his father Madhava Rao (Ranganath). He has a blind sister (Revathy) to take care. Chanti decides to arrange marriage for his sister and plans to leave to army after that. Chanti’s father has a land of 5 acres in the village which gets blocked in the proposed road that leads to the sugar factory which belongs to local MLA (Atul Kulakarni). But Chanti refuses to sell off his land as a sentiment. The MLA plots to kill Chanti also. Later it gets revealed that Chanti’s father has murdered for that very land. The rest of the story is how Chanti takes revenge.

Ravi Teja was riding high with successive hits at that time. This film too had huge hype but fall short of expectations. It remained as a biggest disaster Ravi Teja’s career.
