Dolly seems to be a good director but a bad screenplay writer. The movie is good in parts, while the entire scenes are woven together something seems to be missing. The hero elevation scenes and action sequences are all well executed. He had embedded more comedy in the film to please Telugu audience. But the lag in the narration is felt especially more in the second half.
The songs in the album are par below average. The director depended more on the glam of Tamannah to make them appealing. She is damn hot especially in Mara o Mara and Subhanallah songs. The background score is very good in some places especially in the hero elevation scenes in the second half.
Arthur. A. Wilson's Cinematography is okay with not much of technique involved. The grading should have been more colorful. Senior Editor Goutham Raju's scissors should have been more sharper. Ram - Lakshman had composed some excellent fights which are nothing less than highlight for the movie.
The first half of the movie is high on comedy and the interval bang is well handled. The tempo drops drastically in the second half even with some very good scenes that lure the masses. The movie gets further slow in the preclimax sequences with climax being routine. However, the movie will enthrall mass audience especially the B,C Junta with some hero elevation scenes. A little more effort in screenplay and editing would have taken the movie to the next level. Totally, Chaitanya had scored a decent hit with Thadaka.
