Journey story at a glance
Amrutha (Ananya) is a village girl who lands in Hyderabad to attend an interview. She comes across Goutham (Sharwanand) and he will be forced to help Amrutha. Both develop mutual feeling for each other but fail to express themselves. Krishna (Jai) is a shy guy and falls in love with Madhumati (Anjali). Madhumati is very dominating and always tests Krishna whether he is serious about her or not. Krishna’s parents accept his love and ask him to bring Madhumati to their place. So they start to Vijayawada. Meanwhile Amrutha returns to her village but she decides to convey her feelings to Goutham and so she starts to Hyderabad. But fate plays a cruel role in the journey of the respective characters’. What happens to them forms the main plot.

The movie had positive pre-release buzz. The reviews were also quite positive but with missing of commercial factors, the film did fare moderately at box office. -
Highlights
- This is straight dubbing version of Tamil movie Engaeyum Eppothum.
- Saravanan protégé of Murugadoss (Stalin fame) debuted as director with this film.
- Satya also debuted as music director with this film.

Sidelights
- Initially Sharwanand was not the choice for one of the male leads. But Tamil actor Vimal backed out of this project and so the opportunity knocked Sharwanand.
- Also Shriya Saran was roped first. Even she stepped out of this film.
- Thaman was supposed to provide music for this film and was replaced by debutant Satya later.
