Shakti story at a glance
Aishwarya (Ileana) is the daughter of Central Home Minister (Prabhu). She, along with her friends, runs away from home and goes on a secret trip to Jaipur, Kashmir and Haridwar. Shakthi (Jr. NTR) a local guide travels along with them throughout their tour. Shakthi always demands high amounts for small favours and that attitude irks Aishwarya. Later she falls in love with him after he saves her life from the bad guys. Who are they? Why they are after him? What consequences Shakthi has to face forms the rest of the story.

Shakthi was the second combination of NTR and Meher Ramesh after Kantri. Shakthi was hyped as one of the big budget movies in Telugu. There was too much of hype surrounding the movie but it fell flat once released. It finally ended up as one of the biggest disasters in Telugu and in Jr. NTR’s career. -
