Varun Sandesh is one of the very few actors who touched gold with his first two films. However, the young lad could not handle success and it resulted in back to back failures. He is trying hard to steady the ship with unadulterated efforts and positive attitude.

Personal Life

Varun Sandesh was born in Rayagada, Orissa and later shifted base to Hyderabad for about four years.His family then flew to Bridgewater, New Jersey in the US, where Varun Sandesh completed his education. The actor's sister Veena Sahithi worked as a singer and lyricist in Nandini Reddy's Ala Modalaindi. Varun Sandesh's grandfather Jeedigunta Ramachandra Murthy is a famous writer and he also worked for All India Radio for 28 years in Hyderabad.
Career

Varun Sandesh without any former experience in films applied for Sekhar Kammula’s Happy Days film auditions. He was selected for the lead role of the movie from several thousands of applications. The film went on to become a blockbuster. His second film, Kotha Bangaru Lokam also struck chord with youth and is one more blockbuster in the actor’s account. When everyone thought there will be no looking back for the actor, the following movies Evaraina Eppudaina, Kurradu, Maro Charitra and Happy Happyga went on to register bitter failures.

Finally, Varun Sandesh bounced back with Emaindhi Eevela movie in 2010. The movie despite the apprehensions and objections from family audience ran very well back by the youth audience. However, he could not keep the steam going and it resulted about a dozen consecutive failures. He only managed to garner the attention of the audience with a little role in Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda.

- Due to his education in US, Varun Sandesh had the problem of Telugu-English mixed accent. It posed lot of problems for the actor in dubbing.
- Varun Sandesh is the brand ambassador of Kalanjali brand in Andhra Pradesh.
- Varun Sandesh name appeared in the media in relation to drugs peddling case. The actor claimed innocence giving a TV interview. Later on, there were no links found which revealed his involvement.
