She thrilled the youth with her smile in Happy Days, flattened the hearts with her mischief as 'Geetha Subrahmanyam', proudly made her mark as 'That is Mahalakshmi' with 100% love and exposed her divinity through Badrinath. She made her presence an eye feast in every movie and made the audience rock and roll with her. She is none other than the most gorgeous Tamannah.
With her monumental attitude and wondrous beauty she gave a felicitous performance. She adds a great aura to the entire movie and attracts the audience to the silver screen.
Tamannah made her first debut through a Hindi movie Chand Sa Roshan Chehra (2005), which did not play well at the box office. In the very year she gave her Telugu debut Sri which is another flop for the star. It is the romantic musical picture, Happy Days, which did the real magic in the actress' career. Playing the role of 'Madhu', a college going girl, she succeeded in making every frame of the film beautiful with her cute appearance.
Her next release Kalidas (2008) starring Sushanth received an average talk. The sprightly star did her next venture Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam with Siddharth and received great applauds and got nominated for the Filmfare Award, Best Actress – Telugu.
After a long break in Tollywood industry, the rosy cheek got paired up with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in 100% Love (2011) and created wonders at the Telugu box-office. Playing the role of 'Mahalakshmi' she carried the entire character with a huge perfection for which she got nominated for the Film-fare Award, Best Actress – Telugu. The beauty of the actress flowed in the following movie Badrinath (2011) and raised the celestial beauty to peaks.
As either 'Niharika' in Oosaravelli, as 'Chaitra' in Rachha or as 'Nandini' in Rebel she established a style of her own, which the audience fondly admired. Her next movie Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu, a satirical work on politics is a commercial hit with gripping plot. As 'Ganga', Tamannah rocked the screen delivering her best performance.
Then came Thadaka with Naga Chaitanya, an official remake of Tamil super hit movie Vettai. This is Tamannah's second film with Chaitu and it scored a decent hit.
And in 2014, she danced in a special song in Alludu Seenu and romanced Superstar Mahesh Babu in Aagadu. The film which released amid huge fanfare and expectations, fizzed out at the box office. Tamannah is yet to make a proper mark on Telugu audience after her failed Bollywood stint. She has pinned all her hopes on Rajamouli's Baahubali now.
