Since his childhood, Sundeep always wanted to become a hero. After a rigorous training in fights, dances and acting for three years, he tried hard to get one chance. But very soon he felt that he needs an alternate route to become a hero. He joined director Gautam Menon as assistant director of Suryan S/O Krishnan movie which is when he saw an advertisement of casting call for Madhura Sreedhar’s Sneha Geetham and is selected.

His biggest break is yet to come. During the shooting of Sneha Geetham, Deva Katta cast him for Chinna role in Prasthanam movie. The role struck chord with the audience for his intense acting and made his easily recognizable. Later, through Deva Katta, he got a chance to act in the Hindi film Shor in the City, his debut in Bollywood. Directors Raj and DK saw rushes of Prasthanam and selected as one of the three heroes in Shor in the City.

Chances did not come easily for Sundeep Kishan but with whatever came his way, he managed to impress the audience. In 2012, he has two releases in the form of Routine Love Story and Gundello Godari while Routine Love Story failed commercially, Gundello Godari was a moderate success and his acting as a village lad won accolades from critics and audience.

After Gundello Godari, Sundeep Kishan has been trying to establish his foothold in Tollywood but the efforts yielded mixed results. His next film, Mahesh (dub of Yaruda Mahesh) did not do well but the next films, Venkatadri Express was a super hit and D for Dopidi got him decent marks as an actor. However the success streak could not be sustained and his recent films, Ra Ra Krishnayya and Joru have resulted in bitter failures.
