Rashi Khanna hails from a well to do family in Delhi. Her father was an industrialist and her mother was a housewife.  She completed her graduation in English with honours from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi and is currently pursuing her masters in psychology.

• Rashi Khanna always wanted to become a singer since her childhood. She always loves to sing songs and was nicknamed ‘Free Radio’.
• During her college days, Rashi was a member of an NGO which teaches for AIDS affected children.  She used to give away half of her earnings to that NGO in those days. She even used to teach the children English on Sundays.

• Opposite Gopichand in ‘Jil’ directed by a newcomer, Radha Krishna Kumar.
