After completing her 10^th standard, her mother urged her to participate in the May Queen Ball held at the Secunderabad Club and she won the title. Until then she was not at all interested in movies. Later, when she was in B.Com final year, her mother posted her pictures to director Teja who was looking for a fresh girl for his Neeku Naku Dash Dash. She is finally chosen and later groomed in acting and dancing. But unfortunately, her first movie failed at the box office but her performance earned brownie points from audience.

Later she got busy in her studies and it was then director Maruthi knocked her door with Prema Katha Chitram offer and the movie was a big hit. Her latest film 'Lovers' pairing with Sumanth Ashwin is very successful in terms of Return on Investment.
