We rarely get to see a new girl in a star movie in Tollywood. Even if we do, she will be most probably an import from other industry. But Kriti Sanon made news after she was chosen for a Mahesh Babu film without any filmy experience.

Personal Life
Kriti Sanon was born in New Delhi on 27 July 1989. Both her parents are well educated. Her father is a Chartered Accountant and mother is an Associate Professor at the Delhi University.
Kriti completed her schooling from Delhi Public School, R.K Puram and later graduated in Electronics stream from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. -
Career
Kriti Sanon started modeling and ramping while she was still at college. She walked on the ramp for designers like Ritu Beri, Suneet Varma and Niki Mahajan. She modeled for Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (2010), Chennai International Fashion week and India International Jewelry week (2012).She also modeled for prestigious fashion events. She also endorsed several brands like Close Up, Vivel, Amul, Samsung and Himalaya in their television commercials.2013 is a dream come true year for Kriti Sanon. She got two film offers in the year and they will mark her filmy debut in Hindi and Telugu languages. She has paired up with Mahesh Babu in his 1-Nenokkadine and her first Hindi project, Hero Panti opposite Tiger Sharoff (son of Jackie Sharoff) also resulted in a failure for Kriti. It is also Tiger’s debut film.

Trivia
- A poster of 1-Nenokkadine became center of controversy. Kriti Sanon is seen crawling behind Mahesh Babu in a beach. Several people including Samantha, Nandini Reddy and Sekhar Kammula termed the poster as regressive. However, Kriti defended it saying it was just part of director’s vision and nothing regressive.
