He’s a legend, a phenomenon and it’s not an exaggeration to say he’s the God of Telugu cinema. He’s the ultimate power in the film industry as well as in politics. He’s the one and only Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao (NTR) . Can anyone deny it? Also can anyone guess what he went through in his days of struggle and survival? It’s beyond anyone’s imagination.
Those were the days, when NTR began his hunt in Madras, to find his place in the industry. He roamed around various places, cinema offices, shooting locations and waited for his chance to come. He went on foot, covering miles and miles together and finally solved the mazes of the cine world. During that time, he didn’t even have a penny in his pocket which made him skip his meals for not just one or two days. He stayed with an empty stomach for 3 continuous days. Though he was feeling the pain of hunger, he wore a smile on his face to conceal his plight. Never did he ask a rupee from Yogananda or Thathineni, who were his roommates. Nor did he share his problems with anybody. This instance stands as a testimony that sorrow cannot stop a legend like N.T.R. from becoming a true hero.
