There are some roles that every actor or actress wants to do in his or her lifetime. A remake of the much-acclaimed Queen is being done in both Tamil and Telugu. Kangana Ranaut’s superlative performance in the film turned it into an instant success and the responsibility to replicate a similar performance has been rested upon Tamanna, who has been in fine form lately.
It is hardly a surprise that she has embraced the offer with both hands. However, things have not been sunny recently and there has been issues regarding the remakes. As a result, the films have got shelved and Tamanna has missed out on a wonderful opportunity to show her finest acting skills.
Tamanna unperturbed
Tamanna, however, showed no signs of remorse. She is quite confident that more big roles are on her way and missing out on one or two films will not hamper her career. In fact, she is more excited about the release of Baahubali which is due in few days. She believes that the magnum opus film is a turning point of her career and once the directors and producers watch the film, they will immediately recognize her as a strong actress.
Hence, she is pretty sure that women-centric roles will not be few and far between in the coming years. She also divulged the fact that she has been getting other offers too with similar sort of roles which makes it evident that the remake offer was not a surprise. In fact, during a promo event of Baahubali, she is starring in a Hindi film where she plays a mute and deaf girl. Surely, this is precisely the kind of role that tests an actress’s skills and Tamanna wants that too.
Current occupation
Tamanna is getting offers and soon she will be busy shooting. However, currently, she is completely focused on the promotional affairs of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The epic drama is about to unfold near the end of April and Tamanna is leaving no stones unturned from her part to ensure its success. While the hype around the film and her role has already reached the sky, Tamanna is not complacent and her feet are firmly on the ground.
