Nayanthara’s film career was showing the impressive statistics of 10 movies released in 3 years with 8 movies recording record collection at the box office and 2 giving average collections. This was her statistics before the release of her 11st movie Thirunaal.
However, this time the lady superstar of the South Indian film industry got into the trap of “law of average” with the film cutting a very poor figure and giving her the first flop in her film career of 3 years.
Nayanthara got to experience the harder side of the industry
Thirunaal hit the theater on 5th of August and in a span of 3 days could manage a collection of mere 7 corers. She was casted against aspiring hero Jiva, who was himself stuck in a bad phase of career, going to the shooting floor with the thorns of recording 5 subsequent flops. Casted opposite to one of the strongest actress of contemporary times, the film industry was optimist that Jiva could get back to his older days while his movies would have assured to rock at the box office.
There had been substantial delay in the shooting and release of the film, though, the fans kept patience that gave the crew team the hope that in spite of the delayed release, the film would still find a sweet outcome. However, eventually when the film got live, it straight away collapsed at the box office, giving Nayanthara the experience of the harder side of the industry and digging the troubles deeper for Jiva.
The actress is looking forward to her next release scheduled on 12th August
It is obvious that the actress and her fans will be upset with the fate of the film. However, the experts are optimist that the golden race of the actress will not stop with a single flop show. As for the actress, she is now looking forward to the release of her another film, Bangram that is scheduled for a release on the 12th of August.
