Allu Arjun picks up the mike again
It is no news that six years ago, in 2010, Allu Arjun had picked up the mike to impress Sneha Reddy, his newly married life. That was the first time he sang. However, it was not the last. Only a couple of months after his wedding, he actually rapped in a song for the film Vedam. Six years have passed since then and now Allu Arjun is all set for his next movie Sarrainodu where has actually performed an encore for a track where he is trying to win the heart of Rakul Preet Singh. It is a fast faced, catchy, dubstep track.
Music director SS Thaman reported that the song is different from the other tracks that we usually get in films and not only Allu Arjun but MC Vickey and MM Manasi have also done vocals for the song. The recording of the song was done in Chennai recently and it seemed from Thaman’s words that he has really been very impressed at the quality of the final product. He also added that it is a real pleasure to work with Bunny as he understands the importance of good and appropriate music in the making of a successful film and that good lyrics are also quite instrumental in telling a story. As soon as he was asked to contribute and perform for the song, he immediately agreed and the even the whole recording process was conducted without much hassle and finished in a relatively short period of time.
Big release this April
Sarrainodu, produced by Allu Arvind and is directed by Boyapati Srinu who also the writer of the film. Initially, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was thought of as the actor for the lead role but as the plans did not materialize, Rakul Preet Singh joined the team along with Catherine Tresa. This is her first collaboration in a film with Allu Arjun. While Srikanth plays the role of a supporting character in the movie, Aadhi will be seen as a villain. The much hyped film has been cinematographed by Rishi Punjabi has created even further buzz because of an item number that features Anjali in a special appearance. However Priyamani and Anushka Shetty were approached for the special performance initially. The film is all set to release in both India and overseas on 8th April this year and the shooting for the project had begun in July last year.
