Starting from the night of the 18th October, 2004, the night, sandalwood brigand Veerappan got killed; unsubstantiated rumors as well as self-proclaimed theories about the encounter had been conceived. As such, it is absolutely normal for the director and the screenplay writer to shape the movie in style that is loved by the audience in general.
Where to criticize the director?
On the other hand, the director can be criticized for getting into unnecessary detailing about the real face of Veerappan and presenting the white characters of real life as grey ones in the reels. It is obvious that none in the universe is perfect but, still it makes no sense to modify the characters of the real-life heroes in a style that it raises doubt about those men in the mind of people at large.
On the whole, the film Killing Veerappan is going to be a mass-entertainer, featuring the exclusive hallmark of Ram Gopal Verma Films.
