Celebration of 50 Days Run
It’s a time for a grand celebration for Tollywood movie ‘Loukyam’ team as movie got the biggest hit in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. ‘Loukyam’ starrer Gopichand, Sampath Raj, Rahul Preet Singh and other stars has completed 50 days run in 24 centres since Dasara.
With this biggest release Gopichand is back to his success track after several commercial failures. Film is a family cum comedy entertainer directed by Sriwaas has collected 20.98 crores in its full run after just two weeks. This is going to be one of the most profitable films in this year and also this would proof as the biggest hit of star Gopichand’s career. Production house of the film has released 50 days posters in this regard as celebration.
Direction and Storyline
Movie is directed by Sriwaas under the Sri Bhavya creations banner produced by Anand Prasad. Female lead is performed by Rakul Preet Singh and Hamsa Nandini also played glamorous role. Music composer is Anoop rubens and this super hit was penned by Kona Venkat and Gopimohan. Other prominent roles are played by Posani Krishna Murali, Prudhvi, Brahmanandam and Chandramohan.
The film gave a complete new avatar to Gopichand’s character after ‘Saahasam’. Having a regular story movie set to proof the designing importance for a movie. The storyline depicts a person who is completely careless named Venkateshwarlu (Gopichand) starts loving a girl Chandrakala (Rakul Preet Singh), and his efforts to impress her with his heroic acts and challenges when girl starts liking him. Then movie takes a turn after revealing that the girl is sister of villain Babji (Sampath). At the end villain accepts Gopichand’s love for his sister and the whole process create a complete comedy and enjoying environment.
Reviews and Total Collection
Though the film does not have anything new for the viewers, it’s completely a very routine and regular plot, but the entertaining part is loved by viewers. Screenplay is totally gripping and entertaining and keep the viewers tied to their seats and make them to set a like for the film at the end.
Film was released in many areas of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in around 24 centres and from almost all the centres, it got a hit and a considerable collection after 50 days. The total collection was 20.98 crores in just two weeks from many areas Nizam, Krishna, Nellore, Guntur, Vizag, Ceded, East Godavari, Karnatak in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Also from rest parts of India and Overseas, movie got good responses. Total 18.17 crores were collected from just AP and Telangana states in two weeks.
Music for the movie was released in the first week of September and at the third week, means at almost Dasara time film was released. Those Dasara holidays proved blessing for the film. Box office also predicted the film as to become the biggest collecting film of Gopichand’s career. Also the lined up holidays at the time of release helped the film to get good responses.
