The initial response from both critics and audience was positive. Loukyam’s interesting plot with good humour and entertainment was enjoyed by mass. Though the story was nothing new the way it was presented with right blend of comedy worked. There was much less punch dialogues and those over the top typical fight scenes. This has become a trend in the recent Telugu films; With Lokyam audience enjoyed the change and that too in a positive way. The best thing about Loukyam is its good acting and the story has the right balance, there are not much unwanted scenes. Entertainment is provided in the most the entertaining way that’s what Loukyam is all about.
