Alludu Sreenu is a Telugu comedy drama film made by V. V. Vinayak and produced Bellamkonda Suresh on his banner Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions, Devi Sri Prasad composed the music for the film. Cinemtatography is done by Chota. K.Naidu whom audience remembers for his beautifully crafted Kotha Bangaru Lokam & Damarukam for which he won Film Fare Award for best cinematographer.
The plot for Alludu Seenu revolves around three characters which makes way for scenes of pure entertainment.
The film’s principal photography started at Annapoorna Studios in Hyderabad. Most of the film was shot in and around Hyderabad and other significant portions were shot at Alleppey in Kerala. The songs were mostly shot in foreign countries like Japan, Italy and Dubai.
The film was made on a total budget of 42 crore, The films shooting was done at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad by the end of October 2013, reports claim that there was a delay in finalizing the script work. After completing the first shoots, the film unit moved to Japan to shoot a song on in the exotic locales of country. After the film unit returning from Japan, the shooting continued at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad were some shots of Sai Sreenivas and heroine was shot, the filming moved towards Fort Grand in Hyderabad which was known for its beautiful scenic setting. Then reports came that the film’s shoot would continue in Dubai. After filming few sequences of songs at Italy, the team returned to Hyderabad and so continuing their shoot at Aluminium factory at Gachibowli in Hyderabad. The final shoot of film was done on June, which was confirmed by Samantha in her blogging page.
Upon release film received positive reviews from critics, with critics from Deccan Chronicle and 123telugu.com and Indiaglitz praising the film and particularly performance of Bellamkonda Srinivas .
V.V Vinayak who is well knows and has a big fan base around Telugu film industry for his commercial films, Naayak his last film which enjoyed success both among critics and audience has made another commercial master flick which has paved for Sai Srinivas to make great debut.
Alludu seenu has already grossed Rs 28.7 crore from Andhrapradesh and Telangana, while overseas and Karnataka regions made around Rs 5 crore, and satellite right was sold to Gemini Tv for around Rs 5 crore which itself made a huge business making a profit of Rs 51.3
The film’s team is enjoying a great success with the perfect blend of glamour by Samatha and the promising performance by Sai. This has given a great leap for Sai Sreenivas career and with Alludu Seenu stealing people’s hearts, fans are anxiously waiting for Sai’s next flick.
