Remake
The upcoming movie “Drushyam” is a remake of a Malayalam thriller which also happens to be a super hit. The crew of “Drushyam” is banking on the idea to make some quick money. The original is titled similar too but the remake is not going to be a mimic of the parent movie and the standard formula of the film will be maintained. It is expected to produce some really sweeping waves of awe in the Telugu cinema.
To set new standards
“Drushyam” is going to be a new experience for the audience as the makers have attempted to break boundaries of standard concepts of the Telugu cinema. Efforts have been put to gather and implement new methods of entertaining the audience with a completely different idea of cinematic experience. The director and team have been heard saying that they hope to create a fresh wave in the Telugu film industry. The film is being produced by Suresh Babu, who said that he wanted to make a film that would successfully connect with the audience and that they found potential in “Drushyam” to deliver the same.
The film is being directed by Sripriya and it has been shot in many beautiful locales and places like the scenic Araku Valley, the exotic Vizianagaram, and the metropolitan Hyderabad and in god’s own country, Kerala. A diversity of location has been maintained and the makers have left no stone unturned in introducing perfection to the big screen. “Drushyam” is slated for a July release. It will feature Daggubati Venkatesh along with Meena in the lead roles.
Fresh waves of Telugu cinema
The news of this project being in the pipeline has created a wave of excitement in the fans and followers of the Telugu cinema. The audience is in enraptured by the very idea of it and are patiently awaiting its release to finally see what unfolds. Only time can tell what bodes for this film. However, going by the kind of pre-release activities of the crew, it seems that the movie just might see the bright side of success.
If so, then new standards of technicality and cinematography integrated with some really nice ideas will be set in the Telugu film industry. Come July, the mystery will duly unfold leaf by leaf, till then all fans can do is feel the palpable excitement of what’s about to come. Looks like it’s going to be a very difficult wait!
