‘KothaJanta’ is a film directed Maruthi. This film which has created quite a spark in audiences is set to be released on May Day. The film which was facing some trouble in the regional Censor Board earlier has now been cleared by the Board with U/A. Now that the Censor clearance problem has been resolved the production crew has its hands full with the last minute pre-release work.

This is the second film in whichAlluSirish will be seen as a hero. He is the famous actorAlluArjun’s younger brother. The lead role for the actress’ position has been bagged by Regina Cassandra. The raunchy number, ‘AtuAmalapuramItuPeddapuram ‘- from Chiranjeevi starrer Khaidi No.786 of 1988 has been remixed and used in this movie. This is song is much awaited. The song has been shot on actressMadhurima this song is going to be one of the main crowd attractor of the movie. The pre- release press meets were attended by the lead hero’s supportive brother AlluArvind, the hero himself AlluShirish, Director Maruthi and Bunny vaas, the Producer of the film. In the press meet they unleashed hot stills from the film and also the trailer of romantic flick.

The director of the film Maruthi has promised that KothaJanta is going to be a romantic entertainer that has been written and filmed in such a way that it would appeal to all section of the audience. On being question about the level of hidden vulgarity in the cinema he reiterated by saying that the film has no double meaning dialogues. The movie is slated to be released on May 1st but its audio will be released much earlier on April 12.
The Telugu romantic drama was released online on April 8as it was done as a nice gesture for a gift to the lead hero of the film. Since then the film has received a very positive response.The trailer of ‘KothaJanta’ was attached to the Arjun starrer film ‘Race Gurram’, which has also helped garner some good attention toward itself. The Producer has said that the idea was basically put on the table by Sirish’s father and everyone else in the cast and crew thought it was a good idea so they went along with it to create a buzz about the film.
Another film to be released on May Day is SekharKammula’s ‘Anaamika’ and it is yet to be seen who fares better. However past records clearly state that Shekhar has emerged a winner in all previous clashes. He is one of the most accomplished directors of the Telugu film industry and is supposed to be the only one who has tasted success with classic films. He had locked horns with megastars Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan in the past on different occasions and had won on both counts. The director of ‘Happy Days’ is going to give ‘KothaJanta’ a tough competition or so it seems but only time will reveal the results.
